For the experienced climber, Rocky Mountain Guides offers many challenging high peak ascent adventures.
Alpine Rock Climbing and Multi-Pitch Areas: Loveland Pass, Blue Lakes, Mount Royal and others
These trips are full day adventures and may require an “alpine” start early in the morning depending on the length of the climb as well as weather conditions. The climbs are anywhere from 400 feet to 1,500 feet in length and may go above 12,000 feet. You should know the climbing basics including belaying, rappelling and climbing at an appropriate level for the tour.

Equipment
Helmet, harness, ropes and hardware are included for technical outings.
Rock climbing shoes can be rented at Mountain Outfitters in Breckenridge (970/453-2201)
For all trips you should bring:
• Sturdy sneakers, approach shoes or hiking boots
• Sunglasses and sunscreen
• Wind breaker / rain jacket
• One extra layer like a fleece or sweat shirt
• Water/drink and snacks or lunch depending on the length of the trip
Additional for tours in the high alpine environment:
• Long pants
• Hat and gloves
• One extra T-shirt
