The next level on your way to become a better and independent climber. Whether it is sport climbing, traditional climbing or multi pitch big(ger) wall climbing, this is the program for you. Maybe you climb in the gym and want to take your skills to the outdoors - we can help you with this transition. There is always something to learn and we will tailor this course to your needs.
Intermediate Rock Climbing Areas: Mount Royal, House Rock, Ten Mile Canyon and Blue Lakes
This is the next step for aspiring mountain athlete. You will learn advanced techniques, climb hard and explore your limits. Build anchors and learn how to place protection as well as expand your knot repertoire. Get introduced to procedures for leading a climb and become a responsible climbing partner.
Full day courses run from 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. If you are short on time, half day courses can be arranged starting at 8:00 a.m. or 12:30 p.m.

Helmet, harness, ropes and hardware are included for technical outings.
Rock climbing shoes can be rented at Mountain Outfitters in Breckenridge (970/453-2201)
For all trips you should bring:
• Sturdy sneakers, approach shoes or hiking boots
• Sunglasses and sunscreen
• Wind breaker / rain jacket
• One extra layer like a fleece or sweat shirt
• Water/drink and snacks or lunch depending on the length of the trip
Additional for tours in the high alpine environment:
• Long pants
• Hat and gloves
• One extra T-shirt
